Turn G-Mail Into An Autoresponder
So here’s a cool technique that I discovered not too long ago about how to use G-Mail as an autoresponder. If you get a lot of e-mails, you can use G-Mail to automatically send a response based on the subject of the e-mail. It’s a really cool trick!

Do you have any cool tricks with G-Mail? I love G-Mail and I want to start posting random posts about how to get the most out of it. What are your tips?

Hey Matt,
That’s a new one on me. I use Gmail, only as a way for me to check emails while at another location or I don’t have my laptop with me, then I will download them to my outlook.
I appreciate this tip Matt, I will implement it, and typically with Internet marketing, I subscribe to a few lists, and now I can get a bit more organised with it all.
This has got me thinking now to really sorting out my mess of emails and leaving them in Gmail and not clogging up my outlook
Thanks Matt, as soon as I have a tip, I’ll share it for sure!
Take care

Thanks for the tip Matt! I can see how that can be a great tool to use especially when I start marketing my products!
Here’s a little trick I use too with my GMail- Since I’m always pressed for time when doing research for competitors or just keeping up to date with other peoples blogs, I like to do this:
Go to Gmail Settings>Click on Webclips>Add the rss feed url of your favorite blogs (or competitors)> click save.
Now at the top of your gmail you can just scroll through webclips using the keys and keep up to date daily with new posts. Love this tool! Hope you do too
Just another simple and quick tool to use if you don’t want to deal with a feed reader like Netvibes- and since I’m ALWAYS on my Gmail, just makes sense :=)
PS. Think I will post a video of it on my blog…thanks for the idea.

Hey,
Heh..I knew about the “canned” responses but not the way you’ve figured out to use them. Pretty Neat.
Tips on GMail…I like the labels feature…like havin folders to save different types of mail into. Don’t know if a lot of folks use them or not but with all the different emails I get about different areas of..well..whatever, I’ve learned labels are better than just tryin to Archive everything.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Matt,
Thank you for this tip. I’m using the filter system to organise my emails…this will help me further.

Hi Matt,
