That’s really cool Matt! I did wonder how you put those WordPress classroom videos together. They came out well and so easy to follow. I just might check it out. It might be fun to make a few videos

Thanks
Jim

Great video Matt.

Easy Video Player will be changing the way people market online.

I was one of the lucky ones that jumped on the EVP bandwagon early on and not only is the product awesome but the Customer support is second to none.

Some people are content with the product they are selling once it goes live. Well Josh is not like ‘some’ people.

EVP is constantly evolving. When I first got my copy it was the best thing since sliced bread. Since then, Josh has added even more features (and the price has gone up) and all the add-ons are free upgrades for current owners.

Thanks for the video Matt and thanks for the WordPress Classroom series.

I saw this on my iPhone Monday for $97 when I was on travel. I didn’t want to order until I got home to my computer. Now it’s $127 plus a recurring charge. What a rip!

That’s not true at all. The monthly membership site is just a bonus. There’s going to be video tutorials, tips, tricks, and interviews inside the membership site. The monthly cost is not required. Easy Video Player will still run perfectly even if you cancel the monthly membership…

As far as the cost, the only thing that even comes close to what EVP does is called EZS3. With EZS3 you have to pay $20 per month forever. As soon as you cancel, your videos will no longer work. EZS3 doesn’t have the options to embed buttons or opt-ins or redirects or anything.

For a one time price, you will not find anything better than EVP.

Very good post – I have kept an eye on this from the beginning. I will have to find some spare pennies to buy this I think

Interesting Idea, to either provide buttons or link directly to an alternative website.

I’m short of money at the moment, but can see the potential on offer here.

Great demo, and I bought the product, and then I added your demo to my blog…..hope you don’t mind. I can’t see whether there is reseller rights. Do you know Matt? Have put a request into the support area but have not heard back.

…oops, forgot about the time diff, sorry :-)

I’m sure this will help small business owners sell their business!

Thanks again, oh, and thanks for the amazon tip!

Hi Kylie,
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I absolutely encourage people to use that demo video on their sites. I put an embed button on it just for that reason. Anyone can share this video on their blogs.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the overview of Easy Video. I bought the product but my main concern is that it may mean that I put my business in the hands of someone else. What I mean is — what happens if the ‘bus’ hits Josh and his company folds for some reason? If EV comes down, what happens to all our videos out there in IM land? I understood from Josh that we need his software for them to play. Am I right?

Hey Anthony,
One of the cool things about Easy Video Player is that you install it on your own server. Once it’s on your server, you don’t need Josh to make sure your videos stay online. As long as your server is online and you don’t uninstall EVP, your videos will never go down.

Great idea! I know that using videos is the way to go. I have not advanced to the stage of using videos just yet. I have just been busy setting up a number of websites.

Hey Matt,
Thanks for making the video and clarifying the monthly fee.
I thought that we going to be denied access to the site if we cancel our monthly subscription.

Hey Jeanette,
The monthly membership is just a compliment to the product. It is not required at all. If you cancel, it will not affect functionality of the player whatsoever…

Hi Matt

It takes ages after clicking play on your videos from http://autopilotcashformula.com for a video to download and start playing. Because your videos are downloading much faster to the hard drive than starting to play on-line, I think that it can be caused by Easy Video Player.
I checked my internet connection and it’s OK.

Thanks
Ian

Matt February 16, 2010 Reply

Hi Ian,
This actually has nothing to do with Easy Video Player. It’s actually the format that videos were rendered in. I’m in the process of going through all of the videos and re-rendering them so that they load faster. In the meantime, I made the videos downloadable so that people don’t have to wait to watch them.

Trust me, Easy Video Player, works great for hosting videos. The load time on the Autopilot Videos was my fault and not EVP’s…

Can this be used with Amazon S3 and Cloudfront as the server?

I really can’t tell you how pleased I am to have discovered your blog, my friend!

Hey Terry. EVP was specifically designed to work with S3 and Cloudfront. It’s what it does best and that’s exactly how I use it. It makes S3 so simple…

I’m using ezs3 right now and want to switch to EVP. I read your comment above about switching to EVP.

in ezs3, you create a folder and then the video files are saved in that folder to the url location ( usually has this in it s3.amazonaws.com)

If i stop using ezs3, are those folders that contain those video urls removed then? If not, how would you then connect the EVP player to those s3 files?

has anything changed that makes it easier to convert my videos that are in ezs3 over to EVP?

great blog again i saw the evp a couple months ago and paid and downloaded it , but not started using it yet. i have just reviewed it again as a marketing consultant i should be using it, as i also consult for people within the music industry.

I am thinking you have any ideas on how i can use it for clients as a tool to help them market their product and also for recording artist. I want to get using it asap. I can see the potential in it .

Also if i upload it up to facebook will the redirect option also work

Hey Matt,

another cool video and great recommendation from you, thank you. The programme looks amazing and I particularly like the feature that automatically tracks the dollars if the video links to your affiliate product. Thanks again.
