I Teach How To Blog But Don’t Blog Myself
So I feel a little bit like a hypocrite lately. I am a huge advocate of blogging, I’ve been a blogger for over three years now, I teach a class on blogging, yet it has been a week and a half since my last blog post. I feel like I’m not practicing what I preach. This post is me trying to get back on track. I haven’t fallen off track in my pursuit to make an income online, I’ve just fallen behind on keeping you updated on what I’ve been doing.
If you look at The Goals That I Set For Myself, you will notice that I had three goals that I had hoped to accomplish by August 6th. Well, I am happy to say that I have succeeded in every single one of them. I wanted to launch the paid version of The WordPress Classroom. Well I opened the doors on August 1st. I wanted to make a consistant $100 per day in online income. Thanks to the combination of The WordPress Classroom and a new product that I just released, called Blog Niche Themes, I have achieved that goal as well. It’s not a consistant $100 per day but some days I will make $300 or $400 in one day and some days I won’t make a single penny. When I averaged it all out, it figured out to be about $103 per day. My 3rd goal was to reorganize my office. I was a little late on this one but I have now completely reworked my office. I have new desks and cabinets and the whole works. I feel so much more organized now.
For the first time in my life I feel like I am going to make it in the business. I can honestly say that I do not think I will ever have to work for someone else again. I’m not at a point where I feel like I can ease off yet though. I am still working hard for every single cent that I make. My next goal is turn my income streams in to automated income streams.
To make it to the next level in my business, I have started to build a team. I have hired a graphics guy who I can now call on to get some quick graphics made for any new projects and I have also hired a virtual assistant. My VA is tasked with link building, SEO projects, prospecting potential JV partners, and research for future blog topics and ebook topics. These guys have taken a little bit of pressure off of me but I still have a lot on my plate.
I am working on three more separate video sites. Two of them are with joint venture partners and one of them I am on my own. I am writing an ebook explaining my entire business model and how I managed to get to where I am and how I did it in the time frame that I did. This book will be called “Business And Blogs” (I registered the domain name today). I am also still fielding WordPress related questions on a daily basis and I am considering hire another assistant for the sole purpose of customer service and fast response to WordPress related questions. Do you think this is a good idea?
I just ordered a new video camera. You can see videos that I made myself at My YouTube Account and videos that I made with Joe Fier at the Fier2Wolfe YouTube Channel.
Please leave some feedback. What do you think of the videos? What are your thoughts on outsourcing and building a team? I would love to hear what people are thinking!

Hey Matt,
This was a great post and what blogging is all about – being sincere and true to yourself. You have made startling progress in such a short space of time. People can go years before they earn a consistent $100 a day and you have achieved this in less than three months!
Your products are top notch and all that is really standing between you and big money is traffic. When you have that cracked you will be laughing all the way to the bank!
I am looking forward to your next project and by the sounds of it, your outsourcing team will mean it gets done in triple quick time!
Speak soon,

David Walker?s last blog ..Six Success Factors ? Setting Up an Online Business
Hey Matt,
I’ve got to echo David’s first paragraph especially.
I’d take $50 a day at the moment and be glad for it.
I’d like to make an observation (for your readers) based on what I’ve seen since enrolling on the AJ coaching program. The most successful students are those such as yourself (and David) and others who came to it with quite a high level of technical expertise.
I think that this has enabled you to focus on the message within the coaching and quickly get things set up without the learning drawbacks. Whereas myself and many like me inevitably get bogged down trying to solve some rediculous pesky problem.
The solution to this is outsourcing – I can see that – but personally, I can’t outsource until I have some meaningful success, because I’m skint. The plus side to this dilema is that I’m gradually learning things but the down side is a massive chunk taken out of my alloted daily time.
Something for your readers to think about?
But anyway Matt, the issue here is that you’ve done your time, you’ve learnt the things you need to and you deserve the success your now getting – great job and well done.

Hey Matt,
I speak to you pretty much every day so I am keeping up to date with developments even when you dont update your blog, but its great to see you back on here keeping it filled with info again.
You need to take a step back and give youself a huge patt on the back for everything you have achieved so far. You make it look easy and alot of people really fight for the results you have had for alot longer than it took you.
Thats not to say its been easy for you, its all been hard work that have got you the results so far (and the ones to come) but that the mixture of how you approach things, your dedication to your goals and your focus all play a part in ensuring you succeed them all.
Its really been a pleasure to get to know you over the length of this course we have both been lucky enough to be a part of and I am looking forward to the stuff we will be doing in future together.
One thing that I believe is really important in succeeding in creating a life of happiness, abundence and prosperity is surrounding yourself with likeminded positive people who take action and motivate you as much as you hopefully motivate them.
I try to make sure I surround myself with those sorts of people because of how valuable it is to do so. Thats why ill be sticking around and continuing to chat to you regularly!
Keep up the good work bro, and dont forget, if you win the video competition, thats gonna boost your daily average
Catch you soon,
Josh

Hey Matt,
Thanks for that update, it means alot to everyone to see the reality of someones business and what they have been doing.
I recall first talking to you at the begining of the course when you helped me out with a simple image issue I was having, but you did it and you could not help enough which says alot about you as an individual.
I agree with Andrew, that you did have some technical expertise ahead of others, but you have used that to your advantage cause I recall you saying, THIS HAS TO WORK as you had no JOB. Look at you now, you deserve it.
Whilst you are moving ahead at a faster pace than others, other students need to understand what are their constraints and this is a business that takes time to build.
Really looking forward to your new ebook and products as they come off of the production line
Awesome job Matt, really looking forward to a JV sometime in the future
Talk soon.

Hey Matt,
Good to see you blogging again. I know life just gets in the way some times.
I know that keeping your blog up to date can be a bit of a chore sometimes, but well worth doing.
Keep up the good work. I do enjoy reading what you have to say.
Regards,
Rob
Rob Willis?s last blog ..Are you having a hard time getting traffic to your new website?
Matt,
I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been having some trouble finding the time to update my blog, but that doesn’t mean I’ve given up on it! Between list building, traffic, and trying to process the massive amounts of valuable information coming from Alex Jeffrey’s coaching program, I can barely keep up! That’s ok though. I know it will get easier, and I know that I’m not spinning my wheels any more.
Being that I am not yet at your income level, it’s encouraging to have you as an example of the right way to get there. Congratulations on your success so far, and keep it up!

I’ve just been over to Adam Spiels blog and reading what he has to say about surrounding yourself with like minded people…
He’s hit the ail on the head..
And I agree that you cant do it all yourself…so yeah!!
get yourself that new VA…
Good luck Matt…
See you around.

Its like members of the Warrior Forum having links in their signature for an ebook they have written…”How to make $100 a day, every day”. They then post on the WF asking for advice on how to make money.
But seriously, I know how you feel. I see so many blogs starting.. “I know I haven’t blogged in a while.” I think its one of those things, sometimes you just don’t have anything to say.

Definitely… I would actually consider that sort of thing fraud. Don’t try to teach people how to make money if you aren’t doing it yourself. You will be figured out sooner or later.
Thanks for the comment!

Hey Matt,
Great move on the outsourcing part of things. You been listening to Rich Schefren? It’s definitely the way to go, take the pressure of yourself while you spend more time on the aspects of your business that are generating leads, customers and cash.
I’m sure we will see only great things from here. Sorry, greater. I have watched the video. lol
And an average of over $100 dollars a day! You’re already my hero.

Hey Matt
Great to see you posting here, I have been checking back often!
What you have achieved in such a short space of time is just awesome, you deserve it. I know how much time you must have put in to make this happen!
Just out of interest, where did you go to get your guys for outsourcing?
I have done a bit of outsourcing, but plan to start doing this in a much bigger way soon to help get things done quicker!
Keep up the great work

Thanks for stopping by.

Hey my friend,
Goal setting is the missing link and you’ve got that mastered.
I myself had to concentrate on my money goals because that’s what we business people do.
I can’t tell you how many people haven’t a clue how I can go golfing one day and then be working until 5am on another.
Keep your goals in front and the rest will always fall into place…
Cool MTV crib too.

Hey Wolfe,
I’ve been gone for like a week, and you’ve already created another product! Great work man!
Keep up that momentum, – it’s very important.
Outsourcing will be key! ~ you need to spend your time growing your business. If you’re stuck “Maintaining” your business you’ll stop all your forward momentum and not make any progress.

Matt,
I finally got around to watch some of your blog videos, I needed guidance with an opt-in and twitter. Man, great videos. They were short but filled with content and how to. Now I can easily set up both items.
I enjoyed your comments on outsourcing. I have been thinking about reaching out for VA to assist with task. I would love to chat on that subject.
Thanks.

Hey Matt,
You’re a real inspiration to those of us who are still in the starting blocks, things are happening slower for me, but I’ve re-planned everything now and things are looking up.
Everything sounds like you are right on track, you’ve even started to outsource to free yourself from some of the business. You’re definitely on the way up my friend.
Check ya later,

Between you, Rob Canyon, JT Martin, and David Walker, just to name a few I have learned a lot, been encouraged a lot and just might make something of this thing myself.
Thanks again
